Last report for the year I've added a couple photos to go with my report
That’s all folks another season of senior rugby done and dusted phewwwww……
not really a report on our last game everyone knows the results and everyone knows that saw our game knew our boys played 80 mins of solid rugby there where epic highs and there where lows but was still a good game regardless we didn’t get the W
Our last PODs for the season
3 Matty Brears
2 Jacob Bamber
1 Tayne Clark
Appreciation post ahead:
It’s been a ripper of a year regardless of our results, it’s the pride, the mana, the drive to show up and put the red, black, and gold jersey on and for each other for themselves and for everyone else before them and for all those that will come after them!
Despite the niggles, the injuries, players dropping out, new players arriving
I will always be proud of our team they drove me insane at times and pushed my buttons especially when I was being the hitler 🤣🤣🤦♀️🤦♀️😝 but they are still a great bunch of lads because they always made me laugh and always showed me respect as well thank you boys for another great year of rugby!
Big mihi going out to all our coaching and management teams for being there week in week out, every training, every game even when it felt grim at times, they all still back our teams 💯 all the way to the very bitter end!
To our whanau, extended whanau & supporters, the club who braved the elements with us, cheering our boys along no matter the outcome they too have been there week in week out with us we love you all and thank you too
Another big mihi going out to our premier players that came down throughout the season to us who gave us that little bit more on the field even filling in the gaps when our numbers where down some more than others but your tautoko will always be appreciated and to our boys who also went up to the premiers even if it was just to bench for injury cover, to start or stay that’s what we do for each other
To our amazing kids on home games for being ball kids, tee kid's you guys did an epic job for our teams
That’s Manaakitanga - together as one!
Well, I guess that’s a wrap until next year!
Bring on 2026!
