Match report by Lewis Evans - Premier Manager
What can I say but this was a game of two half’s.
If someone was going to get a yellow it was going to be the crew on the side line.
Both teams were out for the win and they were going to fight until the end.
It was wet, muddy and slippery, Spotty we’re strong up front, and quick out the back but we just open a door for the opposing team to score two try’s, followed by two conversions and a penalty kick. Spotty returned with a try from Louis Bartley to have the opposition score a 3rd try but we retaliated with a try from Malachi Reweti and a conversion from Ethan.
Second half kicked off and yet again the crew on the side line were getting a little mouthy at the linesman.
Spotty scored two quick try’s by Jack Hartley and AJ with one conversion from Ethan to tie the game 24 all.
Now it was a game of two half’s, but yet again the opposition returned to score a fourth try by their number 11, but followed by a penalty kick to make the score 32 - 24.
17 mins to go and both teams weren’t going to give up. The referees whistle blowing non stop, mud flying everywhere, not looking forward to cleaning the players shirts this week.
Congratulations Inglewood on the win, to Spotty it’s not over until it’s over. Let’s take it to Clifton next week on our home turf. |
