Premiers vs Southern

What a way to kick off the second round — an 80-minute performance we’ve been chasing all season. The boys were brutal on both sides of the ball and laid a solid platform early, putting points on the board in the first half.

With the wind behind us, we played some smart footy — controlled possession, built pressure, and executed well. It was awesome to see our passing skills hold up under pressure, leading to some quality tries.

In the second half, we rolled our sleeves up and got the job done. The standout was our defensive effort, to keep them scoreless was a massive achievement and a true reflection of our work rate and how hard we have been working all season. That was our point of difference.

The challenge now is to back it up this week as we take on a strong Clifton outfit at home. It’s shaping up to be a big week, we need to stay locked in and build on this momentum.

Division One vs Southern

A real rough day in the office on Saturday….. leading up to game day we had a squad and a bench despite the injuries that we incurred from the weekend before but come game day we ended up facing Southern with a squad of 14 dedicated players still willing to take the field and get on with it!

Not a game report as such but a report in how proud of them for still knuckling down and then putting their hearts on the line and got on with it, it was always going to be a tough game up against the top of the table and undefeated team but despite that the boys kept soldiering on still defended the line, they attacked, they tackled, they backed each other up, even getting some points on the board! They played with heart
