Round 9 Wrap-up
Mellowpuff day is always an emotional outing each year for the Spotty Dogs. As hard as it is, we take our hat off to you Terry Long for chatting to the boys pre-game about the trust, how it came about and how it helps the community. Believe and you will achieve.
Take a look at the video we presented to Terry at the after-match. Huge thanks to Abby, Matt, Vann and the family for helping out and coming along to make the day extra special
On field, the Colts solidly kept their season on track with a convincing 40 – 7 over Stratford Eltham.
Div One continued their outstanding form grabbing a deserved victory 12 – 7 over Stratford Eltham.
The Premiers got off to a flyer, being in front 26 – 7 at the half time spell. A frustrating attacking half but some staunch defence later in the game had them sneaking home 26 – 24.
Division Two, playing away to Okaiawa was close to pulling the pin due to lack of numbers but managed to field a team. But unfortunately going done 79 – 0 to a very good Oki team.

It should make for a cracker weekend of rugby with the Prems, Divisoin 1 and the Colts all playing at Sanders Park. Division 2 is across town talking on NPOB.
